A Vacation in Thailand

Thailand trip

Whether you’re getting away for a relaxing week or two lying in the sun or looking for a sunshine holiday destination, you’ll be sure to find your perfect getaway during the summer months.

People are so hung up on ‘how relaxing it’ll be’ and ‘what luxurious accommodation they’ll be sleeping in’, that they’ve lost the ability to just relax and enjoy themselves.

While a gorgeous beach far away may sound like a great retreat, a brochure sold for a luxury resort in Thailand has recently told how many of its guests find themselves wanting to go back again because it’s ‘so quiet, it’s great, I can’t wait to wake up each morning’. In other words, they don’t want to leave.

While it’s true that Thai tourism has increased in recent years, traveling to the region has actually seen a steady decline in the last few years – with many choosing to stay closer to home.

Now then, with Thailand being a popular holiday destination, it’s not difficult to see why.

When holidaying in Thailand it is important to remember that the region is typically hot and humid from May to October. In Gauteng, any time between June and September is fine as far as temperature is concerned.

The rest of the year, between November and February, make sure you are getting weather that is guaranteed.

‘marriage rainforest’ is a term used to describe a region of the focusing on romanticism. While the later part of this year and the beginning of July see the rainforest in bloom, the beginning few months are usually filled with either drizzle or light showers.

The rainy season can be a good time to head to the warmer parts of the year. The temperature is cooler and the rain falls less often. Of course, the rain is not heavy and often comes down on the hottest part of the day.

A tip I got from a friend who does Nashville business valuation and just got back from Thailand told me, “The beginning and end of the rainy season are considered the best times to visit Thailand. The sun is rising high in the sky and the rainy remainder of the day will be sitting low in the sky, much like your local weather. It is not uncommon for the rain to last for several days, or even weeks.”

This will not disrupt your vacation, however. You will still see many lovely sights, enjoy relaxing Thai cuisine and generally pass the time with a good book.

If the rain is not something you’re after, many places are sprinkling it during the early morning or late evening hours. This may see mantic, but there are world-class shows being held and classical music concerts. Just don’t be surprised to see the rain while you are watching a Thai dance show!

To sum up, the rain plays a major part in Thai society, however, it is important to remember that itis not the end of the world. Far from it!
